Membership Form
RULES:
- Rules:The following rules for this tournament will be used. Any
violation of these rules,the Dept of Conservation or State Water Patrol regulations shall be reason for disqualification and
possibly from all future events. NO alcohol beverages during tournament hours.
- Eligibility:Membership must be paid up front. If over the past
three years you have fished any tournaments as a "Pro Angler" or you have been a guide on any lake in the Midwest you are
ineligible to join. You also must be approved by the other members to join the club.
- Take Off:Tournament director will announce boat numbers at take
off. You can call the director for the boat number or the take off order will be posted on the message board of the website.
- Team:Teams consist of 2 members. You may fish with an alternate
one time without them paying a membeship fee. Remember, your partner must be a member and have fished at least (1) regular
season tournament to be eligible for the Classic.
- Tackle:Only artificial lures or baits may be used. All bass must
be caught alive during tournament hours from a boat in a sporting manner.NO TROLLING
- Safety:Life jackets must be worn and kill switch hooked up when
the main motor is running ablove idle speed. Lights must be on at night, and any speed regulations must be abided by.
- Fishing Locations:Anywhere on tournament waters except 50 yards
of another contestant's boat or inside the take off cove as determined by the Tournament Director. No trailering the boat
during tournament hours!!!
- Scoring:Largemouth, Kentucky, and Smallmouth bass will be weighed.
Only 5 fish per tournament day. Except during the split day tournament, there will be a (3) fish limit per shift
for a total of (6) fish limit for that tournament. Fish will be measured using a BPS Gold metal board. All fish will be measured
with mouth closed and with pinched or fanned tail. A 15" limit on ALL bass at ll lakes except at Pomme de Terre where a 13"
limit is accepted. Any short fish at weigh-in will cause 2lbs to be deducted from the total weight. Dead fish will receive
a 1lb deduction per fish and only 2 dead fish per boat. Follow State and Lake size limits.
- Late Penality:Teams must check-in by the official tournament
ending time to avoid penalities. 1lb per minute, up to 10 minutes, then disqualified. Weigh-in will start 10 mins after the
official end of the tournament. All teams must check in, even if passed the disqualification period, to make sure all teams
are accounted for.
- Ties:Ties will be broken by the most fish weighed. If needed,
the team with the largest fish. Big Bass ties will be broken by the largest tournament weight.
- Payback:Every 4 boats. 1-4 boats (1place), 5-8 boats (2 places),
9-12 boats (3 places), 13-16 boats (4 places), 17-20 boats (5 places), 21 boats or more, every 5 places, 21-25 (5 places),
26-30 (6 places), 31-35 (7 places).
- Points:Points will be issued as follows, 1st-50, 2nd-48, 3rd-46,
4th-44 down to 20th place. Every team from 21st down that either weighed a fish and didn't qualify for points or didn't weigh
in a fish will receive 10 points.
- Challenge Rule:You may challenge a short or dead fish at the
time it is being weighed after that it is to late.
Membership
We have a $30.00 per person Membership Fee.
Points
Tournament Points *Total Points will consist of your best 6 tournaments. Every
1st 50 11th 30 team will be able to drop their worst point tournament
2nd 48 12th 28 or they are unable to fish a tournament it will not hurt
3rd 46 13th 26 their point total.
4th 44 14th 24
5th 42 15th 22 *You must fish at least 4 tournaments to be eligible
6th 40 16th 20 to fish in the Classic.
7th 38 17th 18
8th 36 18th 16
9th 34 19th 14 *Tie Breaker of total points will be the team that
10th 32 20th 12 accumulates the most weight of their best 6
tournaments.
*Every team from 21st down that either weighed a fish and didn't qualify
for points or didn't weigh in a fish will receive 10 points.
